DRM on Audio is Dead, Purchasing Digital Audio Still Sucks
So, they are finally dropping DRM from mp3s. However, DRM is far from dead. E-books are still encumbered by them from most stores (often even if the works themselves are public domain!) not to mention online video. I also wonder if this means DRM will no longer be used on CDs. Plus, the HD formats [...]
