Privacy

To keep my employers, future employers, and others who have control over my life eyes’ off of my private content, I have tried to maintain my anonymity in establishing this blog. I do not know how well that will work. However, in the spirit of blogging qua journalism, I consider anonymous comments to be the same as an anonymous source. If you wish to post here anonymously, I have no intention of giving up logs that might indicate your identity. Of course, if you post your name here, there is nothing I can do to prevent your identification.

In the same spirit, if you know or find out who I am, I request that you maintain my anonymity. If you post my name on your own site, there is basically nothing I can do but get rather angry at you for your actions. However, comments here containing my name will be deleted or edited at my discretion. Multiple offenses will result in a revocation of posting privileges.

Not that any of this matters, as the chances of anyone posting here is within the half open set (no negative probabilities here) defined by the epsilon distance from 0.
