An UnPaid Advertisement: Slanket
Ok, I just got finished scanning a holiday guide for geeks that I won’t link to because it is terrible (really Ars, poor choices). However, there was one product (besides the automatic litter box, which would be cool, if I had a cat) that caught my eye, the slanket. A blanket with sleeves would allow for easy access to anything in front of you without opening your warm blanket-den to the cold outside world (reading, laptops, game consoles, tv remote, cup of coffee..). Of course, the sleeves would be holes to the cold-outside world, so really, there should be some kind of sealing mechanism there (perhaps some elastic?). I think ruby wine would be best color for you wine lovers, in the incidence of a spill. Just don’t go chocolate, way too close to imitating the Jedi.
